Overview: How Your Data is Handled & Stored

Walk Tracker Pro operates primarily on an on-device architecture. Your daily step counts, walking duration, distance calculations, and optional user body metrics (height, weight, age, gender) are stored in an encrypted SQLite database stored locally on your Android device.

Zero Remote Health Data: Echo Virtual Support does not operate a remote cloud user database that stores your personal fitness records. Because your health history is stored locally on your device, you have immediate, direct control to delete it at any time.

Option 1: Immediate Self-Service Deletion on Your Device

You can permanently delete all stored step history, goals, streaks, and personal metrics directly from your phone in seconds without contacting support:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open your Android device's Settings app.
Tap Apps or Apps & Notifications.
Select Walk Tracker Pro from your list of installed apps.
Tap Storage & Cache.
Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data) and select OK.

Outcome: All local SQLite database files, step history tables, user metrics, and preferences are permanently wiped from device memory immediately. Alternatively, uninstalling the application from your device automatically removes all local data.

Option 2: Submit a Formal Data Deletion Request via Email

If you wish to submit a formal data deletion request or request the deletion of any anonymous diagnostic telemetry (such as Firebase Crashlytics crash logs or Google Analytics device tokens):

What Types of Data are Deleted?

Step History & Daily Logs: All historical step records, timestamps, distances, and calorie calculations.
Profile & Body Measurements: Height, weight, age, and gender used for MET calculations.
Gamification & Achievements: XP points, streak records, and badge completions.
Third-Party Telemetry: Any associated anonymous Firebase installation IDs and crash logs upon email request.
